Kicking off the season in South Bend, Indiana against Minnesota has got to be one of the best ways to begin college hockey. Next year the Bulldogs have two home-and-home series - against the Gophers of Minnesota and Mavericks of Minnesota State.

Finishing this past season with College Hockey's most difficult schedule was rough, and it doesn't get any easier for the Dogs this upcoming year, as they are set to square off in 17 games against NCAA tournament teams.
With that being said, this summer will be anything but a time of rebuilding for the Bulldogs who were a tad bit on the younger side last season.
